LAY’S CHILE LIMON FLAVORED CHIPS

REVIEWER: coolperson23

Picture this: you’re walking to the convenience store, hungrier than the hungriest person who ever lived (probably a medieval peasant or something). Someone earlier that day told you that your shirt is lowkey hipster vibes even though you are currently listening to "Like A G6" because you’re in your early 2010s pop era and maybe even in your indie sleaze revival era too. Anyways, you’re still walking to the store deep in thought, now contemplating the potential offering of snacks. Would it be a good idea to dedicate the first-ever snacksrate.net review to a classic flavor? Or maybe to a new and exciting one? As you open the door, you bear witness to the nearly empty refrigerated drinks section.

“Uh oh,” you think, “That doesn’t bode well for the chips section.” I'm bored of writing this section so you just buy the Lay’s Chile Limon flavored potato chips and leave.

To be completely honest, my hopes were not high. The only justification I had for choosing this flavor is that I had never tried it. The flavor did not seem personally appealing, but unfortunately only reviewing things you enjoy doesn’t make for good writing.

As I bit into my first chip, I immediately tasted hints of Limon, akin to the Lay’s chip flavor of the same name. Shortly after, a second flavor hit my taste receptors: Chile. Initially, I was not particularly fond of the Chile flavor, but as I continued snacking, my distaste for the chips subsided. Both flavors quickly coated my mouth. The Limon flavoring eventually drowned out the Chile, which might explain the gradual increase in my opinion.

However, I would not purchase this flavor again. It feels more like a novelty flavor than one destined to become a brand staple. If the flavor piques your interest, do not let this review scare you away, as I was never a fan of chili anyways.
